Up Construction Sea Trials Other Examples

This is Chuck Anderson's U565 that he built from a Robbe U-47 kit.  It features a number of improvements including a fantastic camouflage paint job.  I wish I could do as nice a job but my paint jobs usually look like garbage.

Chuck has start building these boats for other people. He writes:

"I have founded my own company  MODEL CONSTRUCTION and you are partially  the reason why thanks again dean ,I will be dealing with rc models mainly but am open to scale as well  since I have been building  models all my life  and have several plaques and ribbons under my belt"

A nice modification made to this boat is a brass rudder support in place of the kit supplied plastic one.  The plastic support is a bit flimsy.
The wintergarten has a lot of extra detail added as seen here.  I like the extra hatches, etcetera.
The camouflage paint job really makes the conning tower look real.
Nice, very nice!  Want one built for you?  Contact Chuck Anderson at andrsnhaus@netwurx.net.
