Vac-U-Boat is a new enterprise started by one of the SEBM club members, Phil Pace.  He is planning on producing a variety of boat kit, his first offering is the Tugboat Jr.    The kits is complete except for glue, ballast weights, radio, servo and speed control. It even include clamps to glue the hull halves together and a 1/2 oz tube of Synco Superlube (name-brand non-toxic, plastic friendly synthetic Teflon grease) for the stern tube.  The kit is designed so that the builder can finish  the boat (unpainted) and have it in the water in a couple of hours.  No special tools are needed other then a drill, not even a soldering iron as the motor is pre-wired. 

This kit is one of the most inexpensive kits on the market.  If you want to try your hand at building a boat but don't have a lot of time and don't want to put down a lot of money, this is the kit for you.  This is also a great kit for kids who could assemble and sail this boat with adult supervision.  It also makes a nice rescue boat for those of you with nitro boats.  The kit can be found at www.Vac-U-Boat.com.
