The engine room house is easy to put together because the manufacturer added tabs for all of the pieces to fit together.   Other then making sure that the corners are square, there is not much to do.Click for high resolution image
The roof has a slight bend to it but a few clamps will hole it in place until the glue sets.Click for high resolution image
A couple coats of wood sealer and some light sanding was done next.  The tabs on the side walls need to be filled with putty and sanded smooth.  The ones on top will be covered by wooden strips.Click for high resolution image
Unlike the superstructure, I decided not to paint this to match the real ship as it was painted a rust brown color that I found unappealing.  I got a little smarter this time and painted all the different color pieces separately instead of after I had them all attached.  I wish I ignored the pictures in the construction manual and painted the superstructure pieces before I had it all glued together.Click for high resolution image
