There is nothing more peaceful then wading out in clear blue water and
watching your boat catch the wind.
The wind was blowing around 10 to 15 miles an hour. This is about
the max amount that this boat will take. I've got the sail all the way out and the
boat is really fighting it.
I'm using a Futaba 125 sail servo powered by 4.8 volts at 1.1 a/h.
With this much sail and wind, it's not strong enough to pull the sail in when the sails
are full of wind. This servo will hold the sail however so you much tack the boat
until the sails lose the wind and pull the sails in.
I need to try using a standard 7.2
volt rc pack to see if this will give the sail servo such much needed torque.
