I use to build my own speed controls from plans printed by S&E Modeler but not anymore. For the same
price as the components alone, I can buy a Traxxas unit that offers far more then the ones
I built.
A slightly modified (different heat sink) unit came with my Traxxas Villain boat.
I added a simple water cooling system and it is now controlling dual 17 turn
motors!
