Mhz radio
40 Mhz not legal in the USA
Features: 8 channel, only 4 are configured for use.
Expandable, designed for boats.

Full featured/multi channel radios for ground use are hard to come by in the USA from the major manufacturers.
Until this radio hit the shores, the only
off the shelf one available was the ACE Nautical Commander.
Another way to get a good
multi channel radio is to buy a converted air frequency radio from companies like Vantec. I've heard that other manufactures will
convert an air radio to ground frequencies for their customers but I have not checked this
out.

Gold
manufactured by: ACE
Features: 7 channel, only 5 are configured for use.
Expandable, designed for boats.
Rating:
Although this radio looks like something from 1950, it is a narrow band
75 Mhz FM radio. It features dual throttles and dual rate steering.
Two spare channels are available but not hook up to any
kind of control. This gives you the option of selecting what kinds
of controls to use, such as switches, a dial control or a slider like the
ones mounted to the side. The radio also features a small battery
level meter.
