This module fits into a Robbe F14, FC16, and FC18 radio and converts a single channel into 16 switch channels.  Two circuits are control by a single switch.  Unlike the old version that only let you have one of the two circuits per switch on, this new version has a memory which works as a latch mode so that it remembers that you have turned the circuit on and will leave it on until you select that circuit again.  For example, if you move the rocker switch up from center, circuit A will turn on, if you then move the rocker down, circuit B will turn on and circuit A will still be on.  If you move the rocker back up, circuit A will turn off.   This feature really expands the usefulness of this device.  On the old version, it was not uncommon to only use 8circuits by leave all of the second circuits unplugged .

It you add a proportional channel expander to your Robbe radio, consider getting the optional knobs to go with it.  It makes it much easier to adjust the settings and determine where the control is set.   They are a little pricey so you may want to search at the local electronic shop first to see if you can find a substitute.
