| I didn't have the stock drive line and the boat had already been setup for a flex drive by the previous owner. I decided to use an old Mega mini motor I have had sitting around forever to power the boat. The original drive line was suppose to be a solid shaft with an 05 motor. | |
| I made a plywood bulkhead to attach the motor to. To get the angle right, I temporarily put some solid brass tubing into the stuffing box | |
| Here you can see the temporary brass tubing coming out the end. | |
| The motor bulkhead is well supported and strengthened the center of the hull considerably. The steering servo is mounted just behind the motor in that aluminum cradle. | |
| It's a tight fit with the speed controller tucked next to the motor and the receiver sitting across from the steering servo. The battery slides in front of the motor under the drivers canopy. | |
| This is the hardware I received with the boat. It's certainly not original but is laid out in a similar manner then the Graupner parts. I'm going to use v937-3 prop to start with. | |
