| The cowl and engine air vent are made out of thin plastic and have to be cut out. I cut them a little long and sanded them down until they where correct. |  |

| The latch is glued into the cowl with CA glue and is accessed from a slot cut into the top. |  |
| The latch pin slides into a hole on the hull. The rear of the cowl has a lip on it that fits into a slot at the transom. |  |
