The Graupner Tornado is an older model made in 1992.  In it's day it did very well in competition and was a popular kit.  Unmodified it was a decent performer but with a few hop up parts, it could be transformed into a top line racer.

This isn't the normal build article.  I bought the boat used and abused so this is more of a fix it up article rather then a build article.  It looked like the previous owner used the hull but not the  decorated bits such as the cowl and wing so there still was a bit of construction necessary.
