This is a small electric boat. It comes ready to run, using a single electric motor/prop in a direct drive layout. The electronic speed controller supplied with it is a forward only unit.  The boat will hold a single 6-cell battery. A seven-cell unit will not fit without removing the battery tray. It's easily transported due to its size. A 20 turn motor is supplied that gets the boat moving at a decent speed.  A hotter motor can be installed but the hull quickly shows problems when driven at higher speeds by chime walking. It may be possible to correct this with trim tabs.

 Conclusion

This boat is a good choice for the beginner looking to get their feet yet.  It comes with everything you need besides batteries and a charger.  It works well out of the box with decent speed and very good maneuverability.   The speed controller works well but I think a beginners boat should have a reverse.  Upgrading may be somewhat limited as the propeller is not easily swapped.  That being said, this boat does draw positive comments on it's looks and speed out of the box.
