The pictures on this page was taken by Chris G., one of our new club members for 2002.   He took some really good pictures, next time I'll just hand him my camera.

A lot of boats showed up for the cure event.  We had several table set up for boats and still ran out of space!

Matt S. managed to overflow a table with just his stuff.  He brought his display case for his Coast Guard cutter.  Usually he just brings the stand.  Since we had a number of small children around, the case offered protection from small hands but still allowed them to take a good close look at a very detailed ship.

Here, Phil in the hat watches on as the children enjoy his tug boats

As you can see, we drew a good crowd.  Everyone had fun either piloting a boat or watching.

I ended up doing my Coast Guard diver impression to rescue a stricken boat.

Mental note:  Next time take the cell phone out of my pocket before swimming,   Doa!.

My Typhoon taking a lazy cruise on the water.  A rudder control problem cut my sailing day short.
